Welcome Carter and DeMartino to DUSON Family!
DUSON welcomes Marion Carter and Terri DeMartino!
Carter is the new program coordinator for the Population Care Coordinator Program. Carter has a master's degree in Education Administration from East Carolina University. His doctoral studies are in Instructional Technology. Carter has previous experience in academia and in the corporate setting and he is delighted to return to the world of academia. He also has more than 29 years of experience officiating high school and college basketball games. Carter is temporarily located in Pearson 3076 and can be reached by email at marion.carter@duke.edu.
DeMartino joins the Center for Nursing Research and will be working with Paula Tanabe on her R34 grant "Comparing Acute Pain Management Protocols for Patients with Sickle Cell Disease." DeMartino has more than seven years of research experience and her prior work experience included research work with UNC and Duke. Her most recent work was with Duke Clinical Research Institute focusing on multi-site research coordination and mega-data.
