del boldDelgersuren (Del) Bold is a software developer and database analyst in the Center for Nursing Research at DUSON. She has a master’s degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University and has moved to the area from San Francisco to work primarily with Xiao Hu, Ann Henshaw Gardiner Distinguished Professor of Nursing, and collaborators on multiple IRB studies relating to signal processing, machine learning algorithms, and their integrations into web applications. She is also involved in research focusing on delivering multi-modal patient monitoring and early deterioration prediction models for the SuperAlarm study. Specifically, she designs and develops a cohort adjudicator and data annotator web application for machine learning algorithms to collect labeled data. CHoRUS, a 15-site consortium that seeks to address the grand challenge of expanding artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) to improve recovery from acute illness, is one of her newest research projects. Her role is to help develop a cloud Infrastructure tool for the AI/ML community to create community-based collaborations in advancing AI/ML research.
