Y Combinator is Coming to Duke!

Y Combinator, a seed accelerator based out of Silicon Valley, CA, provides seed funding for startups. They have funded several successful startups, including Airbnb, DoorDash, Instacart, Stripe, Reddit and Dropbox. Since 2014, Y Combinator has funded 250+ biotech companies, which makes them one of the largest seed stage biotech funders in the world. 

On February 25 from noon – 1 p.m., there will be a lunchtime fireside chat featuring Y Combinator partner Jared Friedman and visiting partner Uri Lopatin. Learn what it takes to launch and scale a life sciences company, and hear how and why biotech startup funding will change in the next 10 years. MEDx, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Pratt’s Engineering Entrepreneurship (EngEn) will serve as hosts for the event. Register

Y Combinator will also hold one-on-one office hours on February 25 from 4 -5 p.m. for early stage bio, healthcare and life sciences companies.
