Durham Stewardship Award

The American Association for Men in Nursing (AAMN) Foundation is pleased to offer the following educational scholarship which is made possible through the generosity of our AAMN members and the benevolent giving of select groups of donors.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be a current AAMN member who meets the definition of being a good steward. The award, named after Dr. Jerry Durham in recognition of his service to the nursing community at large, must be used for philanthropic purpose of the recipient's choosing.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applications will be scored base don the criteria listed below. Failure to include information for any of the criteria will result in your request being disqualified.

  • Financial Need (18 Points)
  • Academic Status (8 Points)
  • Workload (4 Points)
  • Resume (5 Points)
  • Certifications (5 Points)
  • Professional Associations (10 Points)
  • Volunteer & Community  Services (10 Points)
  • Honors, Awards & Scholarships (5 Points)
  • Personal Statement (20 Points) - 500 words
  • Reference Letter (10 Points) - 300 words
