Established in 1998, the March of Dimes Nursing Scholarships recognize and promote excellence in nursing while advancing our commitment to provide moms and babies with the highest quality care and promote health equity.
Scholarships are awarded to top-scoring applicants who demonstrate a dedication to improving maternal and infant health. Each recipient receives a $10,000 scholarship supported by Pampers®, a valued March of Dimes partner.
Graduate Nursing Scholarships
These scholarships are available to registered nurses enrolled in an accredited master's or doctoral nursing program. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to improving maternal and infant health for all families. The highest-scoring recipient in the Graduate Nursing category will receive the Dr. Margaret Comerford Freda Award. This honor was established in 2016 by March of Dimes to honor Dr. Margaret Comerford Freda, a long-time National Nurse Advisory Council Chair, volunteer, and friend. Deadline to apply is March 14, 2026.
