Nurses Educational Funds (NEF) Scholarship

NEF Scholarships are for Master's and Doctoral degree study in Nursing.

General Requirements

The following requirements must be met by ALL applicants:

  • Current RN license/Registration from any state within the USA Required
  • National professional nursing association membership - such as the American Nurses Association, or specialty organization and/or evidence of international honor society membership (Sigma Theta Tau International). You will be asked to upload a copy of your membership card.
  • Proof of current citizenship or legal residency status, such as
    • United States Passport (biographic page)
    • Birth Certificate
    • Naturalization Certificate from the USCIS
    • Permanent Resident (Green) Card

The 2021-2022 NEF Scholarship application process will open October 1, 2020 and remain open until February 4, 2022. Notification of scholarship awards will take place in mid May. Applicants MUST have a minimum of two semesters of study remaining after notification of award (i.e. summer and fall; fall and spring).
