Scholarship for Researchers Committed to Advancing Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Research in Racial and Underrepresented Communities

We are pleased to share that The Children’s Heart Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2026 Scholarship for Researchers Committed to Advancing Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Research in Underrepresented Communities.

The scholarship supports Master’s or PhD students pursuing research aimed at improving the health outcomes of underrepresented and disadvantaged populations impacted by congenital heart defects (CHDs). While the scholarship is open to all eligible applicants, priority will be given to individuals from disadvantaged or underrepresented backgrounds, or those whose research meaningfully engages with communities affected by CHDs.
