All are invited to celebrate Autism Awareness Month when Morénike Giwa Onaiwu presents “More than Seeds: Digging Deep to Find Our Resilience, Our Beauty, and Our Value" on April 7 at 4 p.m. EST. Onaiwu, a gifted speaker and educator, is also a renowned global autism advocate, educator, and author of "All the Weight of Our Dreams," an anthology of poetry, art, short fiction, and photography created entirely by autistic people of color. An inspirational story teller, Onaiwu will examine social justice in the autism community, highlight attributes of autism through the lens of neurodiversity, and explore concepts of individual and collective worth.
