Donna Biederman, associate professor, was an invited speaker for the Duke University Pre-College Healthcare Professions & Modern Medicine Course on June 16. Duke Pre-College provides certificate-based enrichment courses to intellectually curious high school participants throughout the world. Biederman’s presentation on community/public health nursing practice, service and research showcased nursing opportunities outside of acute care and encouraged students to consider the Duke University School of Nursing for the future educational endeavors. Illiyah Edwards, ABSN'20 and former HEA Scholar,  is the course facilitator.
