De Gagne Presents at the 2nd GKNF-USA Leadership Program

De Gagne with Students and Colleagues at GKNFJennie De Gagne, associate professor, recently participated in the 2nd annual Global Korean Nursing Foundation (GKNF)-USA at the University of Kentucky, Lexington as a guest speaker and a moderator for the session on practical tips in developing key professional competencies as a minority faculty member: academic teaching. Her presentation focused on “Creativity and Innovation in Nursing Education.” Several graduate students and a clinical nurse from the Duke University Health System joined this workshop.

The goal of the GKNF-USA is to support Korean nurse leaders for advancing nursing science, clinical practice and policy; and enhance networking worldwide to facilitate communication and to foster global leadership.
