Two students from the Nurse Anesthesia-DNP Program, Christine Parilli and Zachary Smith, were recently competitively selected to receive the North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists (NCANA) Doctoral Leadership Education & Development (LEAD) Scholarship in the amount of $3,000 each. The scholarship award presentation will be held during the 2021 American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Annual Congress Student Luncheon in Austin, on Monday, August 16, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Parilli and Smith were both required to submit an essay of less than 500 words related to their interest in and passion for serving in a leadership role within the NCANA and CRNA profession. Congrats, Christine and Zachary!
