DUSON Emergency Awareness: Accidental Injury

DUSON Emergency Awareness: Accidental Injury

Accidental AwarenessDUSON is committed to the safety of its faculty, staff and students. This month’s awareness focuses on accidental injury and what you can do to stay safe.

DUSON manages accidental injury of students, staff, faculty and visitors on a case-by-case basis. If the injury requires immediate medical treatment or is life threatening, the Duke Police Department should be contacted first. After the acute needs of the injured person have been addressed, contact the applicable Associate Dean or Academic Program Director who will inform the ADFA. If you are unsure which administrator to contact after the acute injury has been addressed, contact the ADFA first.
