DUSON Students, Alum Participate in Uplifting Music Video for Nurses Week

A group of DUSON students — past and present —  participated in a video with nurses around the nation celebrating National Nurses Week (May 6-12). The video is a compilation of clips of nurses singing "Lean on Me." 

The video was created by MSN student Alessandra Lopez, who also participated. The video also featured MSN students Betsy Allen and Ava Maritato, ABSN alumna Em Jamieson, and 2020 ABSN graduate Oliver Antonio Fajardo.

Nurse.org spotlighted the video in its May 9 article, "These 4 Songs & Music Videos Honoring Nurses Will Give You Goosebumps."  

"Throughout all the uncertainties and hardships during these unprecedented times, the one constant that has remained is nurses’ unwavering ability to lean on one another for love and support," Lopez said in her email to the DUSON community. "(This) song ... is sung by nurses throughout the country in efforts to signify the strength and unity within the profession."
