DUSON Website Help Drives Engagement

The DUSON website is one of our most powerful communication vehicles. In 2020, more than 1.6 million people visited the DUSON website, and nearly 50 percent did so on a mobile device or tablet.

DUSON’s presence on the internet is necessary to our mission. Nearly all requests for a web presence from faculty, staff and students can be accommodated within the main website and follow University, Health System and School brand standards and web architecture.

There may circumstances where a special web presence may be needed. In those cases, the Marketing & Communications Department is available to assist. DUSON policy describes several options that are available to those with special circumstances. Content for the new web presence is created collaboratively between the M&C Department and the requester to help ensure your objectives are met.

Before contacting the M&C Department be sure to think through the specific objectives for your web presence.

  1. Who are you trying to reach through your web page/website?
  2. What are you trying to accomplish?
  3. Do you have partners in your project (inside Duke, outside Duke)?

There are website templates available to help organize and present your content in a consistent and professional manner.
