DUSON Welcomes Snipes

Duke University School of Nursing welcomes Tony Snipes! 

Snipes began work on April 2 as the Academic Operations Senior Staff Assistant. This position has responsibility for providing administrative support to Academic Operations, the Faculty Governance Association, the Institute for Institutional Equity and the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. 

Snipes came to DUSON directly from the Duke Center for Jewish Life where he had been since 2015.  Prior to that he had experience in other Duke departments including the Center for Muslim Life, the Duke Credit Union and Duke Stores. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fayetteville State University and earned Duke certificates in financial management and business management.  He has experience with general administrative support including event planning, travel arrangements and customer service to faculty and students. 

He is located in Pearson 3056.
