Help Needed: Nearly New Shoppe In Need of Fall Donations

The Nearly New Shoppe, a thrift shop which has been turning gently used castoffs into another person's treasure for more than 45 years, is in need of fall donations. The shop puts its profits toward scholarships for medical and nursing students at Duke University.

Donations can include clothes, household goods and other saleable items. To donate items, bring them to the store between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. daily except Sunday or Wednesday. A tax receipt is given for donations.

The shop is located in the Hock Plaza parking garage at 2424 Erwin Road, but the entrance is on Pratt Street at the back of the parking garage.
