Johnson Joins DUSON as Randolph's Clinical Research Coordinator

Ally C. Johnson has joined DUSON, working as a clinical research coordinator for Schenita Randolph, associate professor.

Ally C. Johnson has joined DUSON, working as a clinical research coordinator for Schenita Randolph, associate professor. She has been focusing on infectious disease research at Duke since 2007 and is currently pursuing her nursing degree at North Carolina Central University, to graduate Spring 2022.

Johnson has a bleeding heart for anyone or thing in need, often volunteering her free time to hold babies in the NICU, comfort expectant mothers in the antepartum unit, take care of sick or injured animals or deliver food and supplies to the unhoused population in Durham.

Besides working, school and volunteering, Johnson is the mother to a six-year-old boy, Marley. When she isn’t doing various activities to tire him out such as hiking, swimming or spending time at the Eno, she is taking him to live music shows or her own music shows as she performs under the name “Ally J.”

Johnson is so excited to begin her work at the School of Nursing and is thrilled to be able to serve as she furthers her career at Duke.
