Join DUSON Strong in our Tour of Tanzania

Join DUSON in meeting our goal of becoming the healthiest school of nursing in the nation. Our Tour of Tanzania, a 1,062.9 mile virtual race around Tanzania, will visit several Global Academic and Clinical Sites from March 1 through March 31.

How it works:

This year, we have a new process for joining the race.

Join the race here.
You will see the entry fee is $20, but the race will be free for you by using DUSON’s coupon code – “Tanzania”.
Once the race begins March 1, log your daily activity! All activity counts. Visit the DUSON Strong webpage to learn about mileage conversions.
Work together to get DUSON Strong through Tanzania, passing multiple DUSON clinical sites along the way.
When you join the race, you will automatically be added to the DUSON Team with the entire DUSON Community.
Add a little friendly competition with your coworkers, fellow students and teammates by creating a group. Visit the DUSON Strong webpage to learn how to join groups.
If the DUSON Community makes it through Tanzania, we will loop back to the beginning of the route and start again!

I do not run; how can I participate?

The goal is to BE ACTIVE! You and the DUSON community will move along by reporting your activity ‘miles.’ It’s all self-reported, so if you are a swimmer or cyclist, great! Count it! Our only goal is to stay active!

What do I need to do now?

Visit http://bit.ly/DUSONTanzania18 to sign up and learn more. After you sign up, you will receive an email reminding you to submit your miles. You will receive this email reminder at 4:30 p.m. each day thereafter, unless you opt out of the daily email reminder. You can also log your miles directly on the race page as well as see immediate feedback, awards and street views.
