MSN Student Whitehurst, DUSON Leaders Serve on New Racial Equity Advisory Council
Unique Whitehurst, MSN student, has been invited to serve on the newly formed Racial Equity Advisory Council.
Unique Whitehurst, MSN student, has been invited to serve on the newly formed Racial Equity Advisory Council on the Communication subcommittee. The council will serve as an advisory body to the Executive Leadership of the University (President, Provost, Chancellor for Health Affairs and the Executive Vice President). Dean Vincent Guilamo-Ramos, Brigit Carter, associate dean for diversity, equity and inclusion, Valerie Howard, vice dean, academic affairs, and David Bowersox, vice dean, finance and administration, are among the Duke leaders on the committees. Ramos serves on the core council. Carter and Howard serve on Education subcommittees, with Carter on the Training subcommittee and Howard on the Education Curriculum subcommittee. Bowersox serves on the Infrastructure & Policies committee.
