PhD Student Lin Presents Research at Virtual Duke Event

yufen linPhD student Yufen Lin was selected as the trainee awardee to present for the Cancer Control and Population Sciences Program at the 7th Duke Cancer Institute Scientific Retreat (virtual) on Friday, October 23. This year, each of the eight DCI Research Programs selected a trainee from their program to present on their research project. Lin presented on "Distinct Profiles of Multiple Co-occurring Symptoms in Patients with Gastrointestinal Cancers Receiving Chemotherapy", co-authors include Chip Bailey, associate professor, Sharron Docherty, PhD in Nursing Program assistant dean, and Laura Porter from School of Medicine. Lin was awarded $1,000 in recognition of her outstanding research and abstract.
