Save the Date: 2019 Clinical Instructor Intensive

Duke University School of Nursing’s Institute for Educational Excellence will host the 2019 Clinical Instructor Intensive “Pushing the Envelope to Optimize Clinical Education” on Aug. 2, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., with a pre-conference on “Integrating Simulation Best Practices” on Aug. 1 for clinical educators of ADN, BSN, MSN, MD, and PA students.

Participants will learn about: optimizing the student experience; listening and language; setting professional boundaries in the age of social media; providing a safe student experience in class, lab, and clinical; pushing the curricular envelope - what to do with the sacred cows of nursing education; and innovations in health education - expedited!
