Sue Schneider, in her role as Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) president, joined hundreds of health care leaders, patients, survivors and advocates for the National Cancer Moonshot Summit on June 29, 2016, in Washington, D.C. According to ONS, the summit marked the first time that individuals and organizations spanning the entire cancer community and beyond convened under the national charge of doubling the rate of progress toward ending cancer as we know it.
