Jewel Scott, MSN '06 and PhD '20, has been selected as the 2020-2021 recipient of American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)’s Excellence in Advancing Nursing Science Award for her study "Social Contributors to the Cardiovascular Health of Young Adult Black Females." This award is granted for an outstanding dissertation in a PhD in nursing program.

The Board Chair will present awards during the start of AACN’s 2020 Doctoral Education Conference that will take place January 20 to 22.
