Lorin Daniels, MSN and DNP student, works at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital (OHSU) and was the recipient of The OHSU Nurse of the Year award. The teaching award is given to a nurse who contributes significantly to the education, professional development and/or long‐term learning of nursing professionals. She was selected based on her work within the Neuro ICU and her community work, lecturing, annual CNRN review course, and nursing care bundle that reduced EVD associated ventriculitis hospital wide.
