Thompson Performed in Duke Opera Theater Production

Roy Thompson, PhD student, performed in Duke Opera Theater’s spring 2021 production of "Flute & Figaro al Fresco."

roy thompson photoRoy Thompson, PhD student, performed in Duke Opera Theater’s spring 2021 production of "Flute & Figaro al Fresco." The theatre performed scenes from the two most famous operas composed by celebrated composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 – 1791). Thompson played the operatic tenor roles of Tamino in the opening scene of "Magic Flute" and the tenor roles of Basilio and Don Curzio in the final scene of "The Marriage of Figaro."
