Paula Koppel, PhD student, presented at the Society of Duke Fellows Annual GradX event on March 26. Students from the graduate school gave inspiring TED talk presentations describing their programs of research. Koppel's presentation, "The Power of Rapport: Enhancing the Health and Wellbeing of Nurses and their Patients," described her passion for exploring if cultivating connection or rapport during nurse-patient encounters can improve the health and wellbeing of patients and nurses.
