Alumna Fisk Wins Writing Award

Kayla Fisk, DNP alumna, has won the Marilyn Edmunds Journal for Nurse Practitioners (JNP) Writing Award for 2020.

Kayla Fisk, DNP alumna, has won the Marilyn Edmunds Journal for Nurse Practitioners (JNP) Writing Award for 2020. Her article "Point-of-Care Testing for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia in Urgent Care" was chosen unanimously by a subcommittee of editorial board members. She was recognized this week during The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) National Conference and the JNP Editorial Board Meeting. Fisk will be featured on the journal's website's home page for the next year as the writing award winner. Julee Waldrop, DNP Program director, is the journal's editor-in-chief.
