Announcing the Newly Selected IPEC Center Assistant Directors

Duke Health Center for Interprofessional Education and Care (IPEC) recently announced its newly selected assistant directors - Nicholas Hudak, associate professor, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, Physician Assistant Program; Amy Pastva, assistant professor, Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Division of Physical Therapy, Department of Population Health Sciences; Margie Molloy, assistant professor, School of Nursing, Director, Center of Nursing Discovery; and Erin Leiman, assistant professor, Department of Surgery, Division of Emergency Medicine.

"These four individuals were selected from among many very highly qualified applicants to represent their respective training programs as we move forward with building a comprehensive, innovative approach to providing IPE for all health professions students at Duke," said Mitchell Heflin, director, IPEC. "They each have remarkable individual achievements that have qualified them for this position and all have demonstrated a passion for IPE and an ability to work collaboratively across settings, disciplines and professions."

They will work with Heflin, the Advisory Committee, and their respective professions to continue the work of building the Center and its programs.
