Alice Chua, DNP '19, is one of this year's five recipients of the President's Award for Nurses in Singapore. The award, Singapore's highest accolade for the profession, recognizes nurses who have shown sustained, outstanding performance and contributions to patient care delivery, education, research and administration.

Due to her winning the award, Chua was profiled in The Straits Times' "Nurses believe in continued education and research to improve patient care" article by Cheryl Tan. "She not only ensures that each patient receives a high standard of personalized care, but she also goes the extra mile to steer them towards recovery," the article states.
