DNP Student Benson Sings at Carnegie Hall

DNP student Nichole Benson took a trip down memory lane when she recently joined the Mercer University audition choir, the Mercer Singers. Benson attended Mercer for her undergraduate degrees in Music and Communication & Theatre Arts. While a member of the Mercer Singers, Benson enjoyed singing all over the world including the Vatican at High Noon Mass.

The groups director Dr. Stanley Roberts reached out to alumni and invited them to sing with the current Mercer Singers at Carnegie Hall. Benson couldn't pass on this opportunity. "I gladly jumped on the opportunity, practiced the music, met the group in New York, and rehearsed with the group for two days prior to the concert date," she said. "It was an amazing experience that I will cherish forever."
