Registration is now open for the 2017 BLS Blitz for March 13 - 17, 2017 in Hock Plaza, suite G07. With the 2015 American Heart Association guideline updates, all BLS provider classes will now be three hours. The American Heart no longer distinguishes between an initial and a renewal course.

• Log into the Duke LMS at https://lms.duhs.duke.edu/Saba/Web/Cloud using your NetID and Password. 
• In the Learning Catalog Search box, enter BLS30101 (or Basic Life Support) and click Search. 
• Locate the desired class to attend and click Register. 
• Once registered, the class will display under the In-Progress Learning Activities. 
• You can only register for one session of BLS. If you need to change your session, you must first Drop the registered session, then register for the another session.

Participants must review and have a current AHA BLS Provider Manual 2015 in hand for class. Also, absolutely no participant will be allowed in class after the session begins or if the participant does not have their manual with them.

• 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.
• 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
• Additional session on March 14, 2017, from 7 to 10 p.m.

As the class includes physical activity, appropriate work attire is required for class participation. Employees are expected to park in their designated area and walk or ride the van to Hock. Duke ID badge must be brought to session.
