DUSON Student Council Invites You to Wellness Wednesdays

The DUSON Student Council launches a new program called Wellness Wednesdays. The new program hopes to offer events to help promote mental and physical health, in addition to, strengthening the DUSON community where faculty, staff and students can connect.

The first Wellness Wednesday event, co-hosted with the Duke Nursing Students Without Borders, is Vinyasa Flow Yoga on Wednesday, June 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Pearson Atrium. The class will be taught by ABSN student Mallika Penmetsa. All yogi levels are welcome, including beginners.

Attendees can also receive information about the nonprofit Shot@Life and learn how to get involved in providing vaccines globally.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat or large towel and a water bottle. Light refreshments will be provided after class.
