Five ABSN Students Participating in QI Scholars Program

The third cohort of Quality Improvement (QI) Scholars started working with Lincoln Community Health Center (LCHC) earlier this month. Third-semester ABSN students Diana Bennett, Kitzia Garcia, Hayley Goell, Natalie Hartmond (pictured), and Alesha Pressley (pictured) will be working with Holly Biola, chief of Adult Medicine, and Awanya Caesar, nurse manager, on QI projects over the summer semester. The projects, identified by LCHC based on the highest need, are colorectal cancer screening follow up and diabetes management. The QI Scholars Program is offered to third- and fourth-semester students each semester.
