Ashley Batts, MSN '18 and current DNP student, was recently featured in an article entitled "Batts Joins Pender County Health Department" published by WilmingtonBiz.

Ashley Clair Batts, a women's health nurse practitioner (WHNP), has joined the Pender County Health Department's Women’s Health Clinic. She will provide family planning and prenatal services five days a week and is accepting new patients, according to a news release from the department.
 
Batts grew up in Wilmington and graduated from Hoggard High School. She has a business degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and graduated from the accelerated nursing program at UNC-Chapel Hill. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Duke University, the release stated.
