Participate in CNR Podcast Contest

DUSON community requested to submit original music and logo for podcast contest.

John Myers, faculty, Assistant Professors Hanzhang Xu and Allison Lewinski,  Jackie Brown, research program leader, Jessie Byrd, clinical research coordinator, and Christin Daniels, assistant dean, Research Development, were recently awarded a Duke Faculty Seed Advancement grant to develop a podcast called Breaking Research Barriers. Their goal is to raise awareness of racial justice and equity for all – at each component of the research lifecycle. They will confront racism and bias by addressing the main pillars of clinical research through our conversations – funding, motivation, project design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination.

The team needs podcast music and a logo, so they are launching a contest. Winners will receive a prize of their choice worth $100. Entries must be original work. Submissions are due May 3. Please send any questions to christin.daniels@duke.edu.
