Dean Marion E. Broome publishes "Innovations in Ph.D. education to prepare nurse scientists for the future" in the Journal of Professional Nursing. The article will have open access until April 21.
Abstract
Hanzhang Xu, assistant professor, was recently awarded an Early Career Investigator Award by the American Heart Association to utilize data from GWTG-Stroke for her research entitled “Patient Characteristics, Quality of Care, and In-hospital Outcomes for Acute Ischemic Stroke ─ An International Comparison of China, Japan, South Korea, and the United States Stroke Registries."
Benjamin Smallheer, associate professor, has been invited to join the advisory committee for the King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University For Health Sciences, College of Nursing-Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia in developing their first Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP Program and Pediatric Acute Care NP Program.
