Nurses and nursing assistants form the backbone of our healthcare system, operating at the front lines of medicine and providing compassionate patient care at hospitals, medical offices, hospices, and clinics, and following up to help patients manage long-term care. Nurses also play a primary role in communicating with and comforting patients’ families.
The education required to earn a nursing degree or nursing assistant certificate requires a huge investment in time and money, often burdening these dedicated professionals with high levels of student debt as they navigate the demands that come with starting an incredibly challenging career.
The WiseGeek Nursing No-Essay Scholarship is dedicated to helping nursing students to offset some of the cost of the education and training that prepare them to deliver world-class care to every patient.
