DUSON BIPOC Community Members Invited to Koru Mindfulness Series

event flyer The Student Success Center and Jacqui McMillian-Bohler, assistant professor, are partnering with DuWell to offer a Koru Mindfulness course focused on supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) members of our community at Duke. During an unprecedented year in the struggle to end racial violence and address inequality in the United States, we feel it is critical to attend to the wellness and coping of communities of color.

The four-week class will be hosted by McMillian-Bohler on Tuesday evenings, starting February 9 at 5 p.m., and all BIPOC students, faculty, and staff at DUSON are welcome to join. Please plan to commit to all four sessions. Mindfulness and Meditation benefit from practice, and it can take over a month to create a new wellness habit.

Space is limited, so reserve your spot today.
