This recognition is given to nursing schools or colleges that have provided significant efforts in recruiting and retaining men in nursing, in providing men a supportive educational environment, and in educating faculty, students, and the community about the contributions men have and do make to the nursing profession.

ABSN students Brian Oh and Olivia Myszewski, co-presidents of Duke University Chapter of AAMN (DAAMN), received the award on October 21 during the 46th annual AAMN conference. Assistant Professors Allen Cadavero and Stephanie Gedzyk-Nieman, who are faculty co-leads for DAAMN, and Dean Vincent Guilamo-Ramos, who was a keynote speaker for the conference, were in attendance for the award ceremony.
