Alum Ni Awarded Research Funding on Two Projects
Zhao Ni, ABSN'14 and PhD'19, and current postdoctoral associate for Yale's School of Medicine, proposed two grants to the NIH during his time at Yale for using machine learning to increase HIV testing. Both proposals have been funded.

Kudos to Sophia Smith, associate professor, and her entire team for the submission of her NIH R21 Subcontract application to University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, entitled “Digital Phenotyping to Identify Psychological Distress in Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivors." This application requests funding for a two-year period with a start date of July 1, 2021.
