Strengthening community partnerships
D-CHIPP works together with a variety of local organizations and coalitions to understand the health needs of the Durham community. The relationships established with community organizations provide the foundation needed to advance health in our community.
Creating solutions to community health challenges
We are bringing together community partners and leading them through a unique process of solving tough health and social issues faced by the populations they serve. By using the Design Thinking process, organizations are encouraged to think creatively about problem solving and develop new and innovative ways to address challenges.
Community service work among faculty, staff, and students
We are committed to giving back to our community through volunteer service efforts. If you have a need in an upcoming community event, contact dchippcoord@duke.edu.
