Michael Cary, associate professor, was recognized for receiving the Raymond Gavins Distinguished Faculty Award, a Samuel DuBois Cook Society award, during the Society's awards ceremony on February 23.

Donna Biederman, associate professor, wrote a letter to the Health Care for the Homeless Respite Care Providers' Network (RCPN) members, which was included in their newsletter. Biederman is the new chair of the RCPN Steering Committee.
Several DUSON faculty and staff recently volunteered their time at TROSA during their COVID vaccination clinic. The clinic provided the second dose of the COVID vaccine to 200 of their residents and staff.
As part of the 2021 Health Professions Education Day, Duke AHEAD and Duke IPEC will present March Education Grand Rounds: Innovation Grant Presentations, where attendants where learn more about the exciting projects faculty have developed as part of the Duke AHEAD and IPEC Center grants.
