Our DUSON need-based scholarship provides newly admitted ABSN students beginning the program in Spring 2024 who demonstrate the greatest financial need with a grant toward tuition. Scholarship awards range from $10,000 - $60,000 in total over four semesters of the program. Current students are not eligible to apply for need-based scholarships.
All applicants are considered for the merit scholarship. One $40,000 scholarship is awarded per cohort (Fall admit, Spring admit) toward tuition ($10,000 per semester for four semesters). Students must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States to be eligible for consideration.
The purpose of this scholarship program is to provide tuition assistance to outstanding individuals who demonstrate academic achievement, creativity and innovation, exceptional communication skills, and the potential for significant leadership in their professional endeavors.
The brave men and women serving in the US military, along with their families, shoulder a tremendous burden in keeping our country safe and protecting our freedoms.
In times of peace, it’s easy to forget the sacrifice these Americans make. Yet nearly every day, US service members put their lives on the line around the world to support our country. As a nation, we owe our military an immense debt of gratitude.
The WiseGeek Military Appreciation Scholarship is meant to honor those who have made a commitment to serve our country. The grant is available to active, former, or future service members across all branches of our military - Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, National Guard.
Eligibility Requirements
An active, former, or future serve member of the US military
