Michael Cary, PhD, RN, and Elizabeth C. Clipp Term Chair of Nursing at the Duke University School of Nursing, was appointed as the inaugural AI Health Equity Scholar in January 2022. As a nurse leader, Cary joins other Duke scholars tackling inequities in clinical algorithms used across the health system.
The committee is set to develop a conceptual framework for delivering essential health care related to Intimate Partner Violence during public health emergencies, like the COVID-19 pandemic.
