Kudos to Michael Cary, associate professor, and his entire team for the submission of his NIH R01 proposal entitled: “Development of an electronic clinical prediction tool to guide successful community discharge following inpatient rehabilitation for older adults." This proposal request funding for a five-year period with a start date of July 1, 2021.
The Interprofessional Education Advanced Certificate Program, sponsored by Duke AHEAD and the Duke Health Interprofessional Education and Care (IPEC) Center, is a yearlong professional development program that prepares health professions educators to develop, deploy and evaluate interprofessional educational activities in the context of learning about, from, and with educators from other professions.
Brigit Carter, associate dean for Diversity and Inclusion, is a featured speaker for Fitzhugh Mullan Institute's Health Workforce Equity's Health Workforce Equity Summit "Structural Racism and Health Professions Education" on October 29 from 1 to 5 p.m.
