Nicole (Nikki) Petsas Blodgett, PhD, RN, recently joined Duke as the new director of the Center for Nursing Discovery (CND).

DUSON is now an official School of Nursing partner of the Nurses Climate Challenge School of Nursing Commitment. The Nurses Climate Challenge is a national campaign to mobilize nurses to educate 50,000 health professionals on the impacts climate change has on human health. The campaign is a collaboration between Health Care Without Harm and the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (ANHE).

Kathryn E. Kreider, DNP, FNP-BC, BC-ADM, associate professor and lead faculty for the DUSON endocrinology specialty, has been inducted as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP).
