Vice Dean, Finance and Administration
Michael V. Relf, Interim Dean, Duke University School of Nursing
THE ROLE: The Vice Dean serves as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer within the school, providing oversight to the financial, budgeting, human resources, facility management, information technology, and space planning functions.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate is a forward thinking, collaborative, and highly ethical financial leader with a minimum of eight years of significant fiscal management responsibility with direct oversight of areas of fiscal analysis, forecasting, borrowing, accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting functions. Successful candidates will have a strong individual commitment to the School of Nursing’s mission of health equity and social justice, as well as extensive leadership experience in healthcare or higher education finance and/or accounting and an earned bachelor’s degree (an MBA preferred).

Clinical Research Specialist, Senior, 253943
Supervisor: Assistant Research Practice Manager
THE ROLE: The person in this role will be responsible for participating in the implementation and execution of intervention programs designed to prevent HIV among Black women in NC with Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). This role involves culturally congruent community engagement, recruiting beauty salons, training salon stylists serving black women in NC, participant recruitment support and retention, innovative engagement of the community, and routine data collection, and travel across NC.
QUALIFICATIONS: One year of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience. .

Clinical Research Coordinator, 251982
Supervisor: Center for Nursing Research
THE ROLE: This full-time position includes 100% effort to work on research studies focused on addressing the needs of English- and Spanish-speaking patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and family caregivers during the transition home from acute hospital care.
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working on randomized controlled trials is preferred. Experience working with health-related care of patients or clinical research studies is preferred.

THE ROLE: With wide latitude for independent discretion and judgement, provide a high level of confidential executive assistant support to the Dean, School of Nursing. Anticipate the needs of the Dean on a daily basis. Responsible for central coordination of Dean’s Office activities and ensure timely flow of information to and from the Dean. Greet Dean’s guest and provide direction and assistance to faculty, staff, students, alumni, University community and visitors.

Postdoctoral Associate - T32 Nurse LEADS, 251196
Supervisor: T32 Nurse LEADS
THE ROLE: This Postdoctoral Associate position is supported by the T32 Nurse LEADS: Training in Nurse-LEd models of care ADdressing the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) training grant supported through the National Institute of Nursing Research. The Postdoctoral Associate will conduct independent research activities under the guidance of faculty mentors in preparation for a full time academic or research career. This appointment aims to support nurse scientists to foster independent research programs focused on nurse-led models of care addressing SDOH using advanced analytics approaches through multiple strategies. Nurse LEADS builds upon a partnership with North Carolina Central University (NCCU) and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).
QUALIFICATIONS: RN or advanced practice nurse - PhD or equivalent doctorate (e.g. DNS) within the past 5 years of graduation.
