School Opens Prayer, Meditation Room for IPE Community

Duke School of Nursing is pleased to offer a space for the Duke Interprofessional Education community that provides the opportunity for prayer, reflection and meditation. This space is designed to support all religious and nonreligious identities, to foster a sense of belonging and to support a sense of inclusion so our community members feel they can bring their whole selves to work or school.

You Presents on Racial Disparities in Shared Decision-Making Among Families of Patients in ICUs

binnie youHyunBin (Binnie) You, PhD student, gave a Zoom presentation on Monday, Nov. 1, at the Duke Palliative Care Grand Rounds with Deepshikha Caran Ashana. The presentation was about “Racial disparities in ICU shared decision making” and presented the preliminary findings of the team’s ongoing research project using rapid qualitative analysis.
