Lipkus Submits Proposal on Messaging Cessation Intervention
Kudos to Isaac Lipkus, professor, and his entire team for the submission of a subcontract proposal to The Ohio State University on their NIH R01 application entitled: "Efficacy of a Tailored mHealth Messaging Cessation Intervention for Waterpipe Tobacco Smoking in Young Adults." This proposal requests funding for a five-year period with a start date of September 1, 2021.

Amber Johnson, DNP'20, recently accepted a faculty position with Seed Global Health at Lira University in Uganda for the 2021-22 academic year. She'll be working both as a nursing/midwifery instructor in their nursing school as well as helping to launch their new graduate program in midwifery.
