Faculty Opportunities for Rwanda Health Human Resources Program

Rwanda Human Resources for Health

The Rwanda Human Resources for Health (HRH) Program is a partnership between the Rwandan Ministry of Health, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, and a US Academic Consortium of medical and nursing schools. As a member of the US Academic Consortium, Duke University School of Nursing (DUSON) assists directly in the program’s aims to build the health education infrastructure and health workforce necessary to create a high quality, sustainable healthcare system in Rwanda.

OGACHI Welcomes Visiting Scholar Kim

The Office of Global and Community Health Initiatives (OGACHI) welcomes international visiting research scholar, San Suk Kim, PhD, MSN, who arrived on June 1 for an eight-month visit. Kim is a past associate professor at Chung-Ang University in Seoul Korea and will have a mentored and professeional development experience working under the guidance of Jennie De Gagne.

DUSON Welcomes International Global Health Course Students

Duke University School of Nursing welcomes international students representing Barbados, Netherlands, Philippines, Japan, Oman, Korea and the United Kingdom. The students join the Duke Community for a two week course - NURS555 Exploring Global Patterns of Health and Illness. International participants are joined by four DUSON students: Casey Lary, Noel Magtoto, Trinh Tran, and Eleanor Willis.
